दौंड तालुक्यात शिवसेनेचे जिल्हाप्रमुख महेश पासलकर यांच्या पक्षप्रचार व कामकाजामुळे शिवसेना बळकट होत चालली आहे. दिवसेंदिवस इतर पक्षातील पदाधिकारी,कार्यकर्ते, तसेच समर्थक शिवसेनेत प्रवेश करताना दिसत आहेत.
दि.23 मे रोजी दौंड तालुक्यातील अनेक युवा कार्यकर्ते यामध्ये साहेबराव शितोळे,निखिल शितोळे, रितेश शितोळे, अमोल कुऱ्हाडे, शुभम ढमे आदींनी शिवसेनेचे मध्यवर्ती कार्यालय केडगाव येथे शिवसेनेचे जिल्हाप्रमुख महेश पासलकर यांच्या उपस्थितीत शिवबंधन बांधून शिवसेनेत जाहीर प्रवेश केला.यावेळी महेश पासलकर यांनी सर्वांचे पक्षात स्वागत केले, तसेच आपल्या पक्षात सर्वांना समान वागणूक दिली जाते,त्यामुळे युवा कार्यकर्त्यांनी सामान्य जनतेच्या कामांना प्राधान्य देऊन त्यांचे प्रश्न सोडवण्यासाठी प्रयत्न करावा असा सल्लाही यावेळी महेश पासलकर यांनी दिला.
याप्रसंगी शिवसेना विभागप्रमुख हनुमंत निगडे,माऊली आहेर, शंकर शितोळे,प्रशांत शितोळे तसेच शिवसेनेचे पदाधिकारी आदी उपस्थित होते.
