Pune PMC Election 2026 Highlights: With 36.95 per cent turnout recorded in PMC till 3.30 pm, voter turnout in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) polls remained low. Meanwhile, it was recorded at 40.5 per cent in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) elections till 3:30 pm. Voting is currently underway for the PMC and PCMC polls, along with polls in 27 other civic bodies of Maharashtra.

Companies are asked to give a break to vote: Pune Civic election officer and municipal commissioner Naval Kishore Ram on Wednesday warned that action would be taken against establishments that do not provide vacation or at least a few hours of rest its employees to cast their vote on Thursday. Voters can register complaints using the contact information: toll-free number 1800-103-0222, or 020-2550-1490, or even by email at complaint.election@punecorporation.org.
