A specialized training capsule of Indian Army and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has been started at Aundh military station in Pune, focusing on national security priorities, the Indian Army he said Tuesday. Training focuses on tactical procedures and communication protocols during real-world contingencies.
A post in CISF, a multi-faceted central armed police force, primarily provides security cover to critical national installations and also maintains 12 reserve battalions to respond to any security demands.

In September last year, as part of the civil military fusion training initiative, the Shivneri Brigade under the auspices of the Golden Qatar Division conducted a two-week comprehensive counter-terrorism capsule for 100 CISF personnel at the Civil Military Fusion Training Node at Aundh Military Station. The training included modules on Army Martial Arts Training Routine (AMAR), Weapon Handling, Quick Reaction Team (QRT) Exercises, Room Intervention, Survival Training and Functioning of the Indian Army, aimed at developing basic combat skills, improving situational response capability and synergy in operations.
In July last year, Southern Command’s Bald Eagle Brigade conducted a two-week intensive training capsule for CISF personnel in Bhuj, with an aim to hone their counter-terrorism skills, enhance proficiency in drone handling and develop rapid response capabilities against aerial threats.
