सध्या देशात खेडोपाडी वीज पोहचलेली आहे.पण अजूनही काहि भागात तांत्रिक अथवा इतर अडचणींमुळे वीजपुरवठा होत नाही.कानगाव ता. दौंड येथील जगताप वस्ती येथे देखील तांत्रिक अडचणींमुळे वीजपुरवठा करणे शक्य नव्हते.परंतु महावितरण चे अधिकारी व कर्मचारी यांनी यावर मार्ग काढून तेथे वीजपुरवठा करण्याची सोय केली.
यासाठी बारामती लोकसभा मतदार संघांच्या खासदार सुप्रिया सुळे यांच्या सूचनेनुसार समन्वयक प्रवीण शिंदे यांनी महावितरणकडे पाठपुरावा केला.त्यांच्या या पाठपुराव्यामुळे दि.29 मे रोजी जगताप वस्ती येथे वीजपुरवठा करण्यात आला. या यामुळे जगताप वस्ती व परिसरातील नागरिकांना विजेची सोय झाली.त्यामुळे येथील नागरिकांमध्ये आनंदाचे वातावरण निर्माण झाले.
या ठिकाणी वीजपुरवठा झाल्याने खासदार सुप्रिया सुळें यांनी महावितरण अधिकारी व कर्मचारी यांचे आभार मानले.
