Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat will address prominent people from various sectors in Mumbai on February 7, according to an RSS statement issued in Mumbai on Wednesday. An interactive session will follow the next day.

As part of the RSS centenary year programmes, a two-day lecture series titled ‘New Horizons’ was organized at the Nehru Centre, Worli on February 7-8, 2026. This event marks the final leg of a four-city series that earlier took place in Delhi, Bengaluruetc Calcuttaaccording to the statement. The series features four sessions over two days, with Bhagwat’s lecture on the first day and the Q&A session the next day.

Describing the details of the event, Arjun Chandekar, Sanghchalak of Kokan Prant, said, “We have invited eminent personalities from various walks of life including industrialists, film personalities, artists, literati, scientists, doctors, advocates, sportspersons, social organisations, academics, media owners and editors, dharmagurus, social media influencers, financial experts and advertising agencies. The response we have received from them has been tremendous and humbling. Over the years, Sajjan Shakti’s acceptance and participation in Sangh Karya has multiplied.”

According to the statement, the centenary year of RSS has laid special emphasis on Panch Parivartan – promotion of family values, social harmony, civic responsibilities, self-awareness and environment protection.

The RSS centenary year spans from Vijayadashami 2025 to Vijayadashami 2026. A series of inspiring events, including gruh sampark, Hindu sammelan, intellectual gatherings, social group meetings and yuva sammelan, have been planned to engage various sections of the society, the statement added.

In October, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised those who led the RSS during its 100-year journey. From its founder Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar to the current chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat, all the Sarsanghchalaks, he said, had fought against discrimination and untouchability. Prime Minister Modi then said that the RSS was founded with an unwavering belief in the nation and has worked on the path of selfless service to the nation.
