Embassy Developments Limited (EDL) on Tuesday announced its entrance to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) with three residential projects in Worli, Juhu and Alibaug, marking the first residential developments under the Embassy brand in Mumbai.
The company said it plans to invest around Rs 4,500 crore in the three projects. The total footprint of the development is approximately 1.58 million sq ft of RERA carpet area, and launches are scheduled to begin from Q4 FY2026.
The flagship project, Embassy Citadel in Worli, is an ultra-luxury single-tower development of approximately 1 million sq ft with a gross development value (GDV) of over Rs 8,800 crore. Located near the Four Seasons hotel, the project will comprise three-, four- and five-bedroom homes, as well as two triplex residences. The development will feature a seven-level amenity space, including a five-level clubhouse, and has received RERA approval.
In Juhu, EDL is planning a low-density luxury residential project spread over about 0.33 million sq ft with an estimated GDV of Rs 3,000 crore. The project, which is pending approval, will consist of around 50 homes on more than two acres and is aimed at multi-generational urban families.
The third project, in Alibaug, marks EDL’s entry into the lifestyle and second home segment. Conceived as a low-rise development integrated with nature, the project will span approximately 0.2 million sq ft with a GDV of around Rs 400 crore. It is also pending regulatory approvals.
