भिगवण येथे रविवार (दि.०४) रोजी मराठा क्रांती मोर्चा आणि सकल मराठा समाज यांच्यावतीने सकाळी १० वा. पुणे सोलापूर महामार्गावर सनदशीर मार्गाने मराठा समाजाच्या मागण्यासाठी व सरकारला जाग आणण्यासाठी रास्ता रोको आंदोलन करण्यात आले .

यावेळी एक मराठा, लाख मराठा, आरक्षण आमच्या हक्काचे, नाही कोणाच्या बापाचे ,अशा घोषणांनी परिसर दुमदुमला.

मा.सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने मराठा आरक्षणाला स्थगिती देत, हे प्रकरण स्वतंत्र खंडपीठाकडे सुनावणीसाठी ठेवण्याचा निर्णय घेतला. मा.न्यायालयाने स्थगिती दिल्यानंतर मागील एक आठवड्यापासून महाराष्ट्रातील तमाम मराठा संघटनांनी तसेच मराठा क्रांती मोर्चा संयोजकांनी आंदोलन सुरू केले. आंदोलनाच्या या पहिल्या टप्प्यात महाराष्ट्रातील सर्व लोकप्रतिनिधींच्या घरासमोर, कार्यालयासमोर निदर्शने चालू केली. जो पर्यंत मराठा समाजाला आरक्षण मिळत नाही, तोपर्यंत वेगवेगळ्या स्वरूपात आंदोलने चालू ठेवण्याचा निर्णय या विविध संघटनांनी घेतला आहे. लोकप्रतिनिधी वा शासनकर्त्या वर्गाकडे आरक्षणाचा आग्रह धरणे यात काही गैर नाही. याचाच एक भाग म्हणून दि.४ रोजी भिगवन ता. इंदापूर येथे तालुक्यातील समस्त मराठा समाजाच्या वतीने रास्ता रोको आंदोलन करण्यात आले.

या आंदोलनामध्ये आक्रमक झालेल्या मराठा समाजाने आरक्षणासाठी शेवटच्या श्वासापर्यंत लढण्याचा निर्धार केला असून यातील
प्रमुख मागण्यांमध्ये, मराठा समाजाच्या नोकरी व शिक्षणातील सवलतीला सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने स्थगिती दिलेली आहे, ती त्वरित उठवावी. तसेच महाराष्ट्र शासनाने सध्या चालू केलेली सर्व नोकर भरती आरक्षणाचा निर्णय होईपर्यंत स्थगित ठेवावी, कोपर्डी बलात्कार प्रकरणातील आरोपींना तात्काळ फाशीची शिक्षा देण्यात यावी, कै.श्री. आण्णासाहेब पाटील आर्थिक मागास विकास महामंडळास १ हजार कोटी रुपयांची तरतूद करण्यात यावी, मराठा आंदोलकांवरील गुन्हे तात्काळ मागे घेण्यात यावेत, राज्य लोकसेवा आयोगाने एसईबीसी प्रवर्गाच्या ज्या निवडी केलेल्या होत्या त्या संरक्षित करण्यात याव्यात, तसेच मराठा समाजाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांचे शैक्षणिक प्रवेशा बाबतच्या ज्या अडचणी असतील त्या अडचणी शासनाने शिक्षण क्षेत्रातील तज्ञ लोकांची नियुक्ती करून त्या त्वरित सोडवाव्यात. अशा विविध मागण्यांचे निवेदन उपविभागीय अधिकारी नारायण शिरगावकर, मंडल अधिकारी मकरंद तांबडे यांचेकडे देण्यात आले. यावेळी सर्वपक्षीय नेते, कार्यकर्ते व ग्रामस्थ मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते.

भिगवण पोलिस प्रशासनाच्या वतीने स.पो.नि.जीवन माने, यांनी आंदोलन प्रसंगी कडेकोट बंदोबस्त तैनात केला होता.
