Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 5 Update: Sunny Deol’s war drama is inching closer to the Rs 200 crore mark in India.
Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 5 Update: After an impressive opening and strong numbers on Republic Day, Border 2 saw a dip in collections on its first Tuesday. According to Sacnilk, the film grossed Rs 19.50 million in India, taking its domestic total to Rs 196.50 million and worldwide earnings to Rs 270.7 million.
On the 5th, the film recorded an overall occupancy of 24.82 percent in Hindi. The morning shows recorded an occupancy of 11.21 percent, followed by 24.22 percent in the afternoon, 29.79 percent in the evening and 34.07 percent in the evening shows. He Bombay The region had 1,104 shows with an average room occupancy of 19.33 percent, while the Delhi-The NCR region recorded 1,726 shows and the highest occupancy at 28.67 percent.

World, Border 2 has grossed around Rs 270 crore, making it one of the biggest Republic Day releases of all time and the second-best opening weekend of Sunny Deol’s career.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Border 2 producer Bhushan Kumar confirmed the third installment of the film, Border 3. He said, “We are doing a joint venture (a different film) with his (Anurag Singh) company and mine. He will direct and it will be something new. Border 3 will happen in due time.”
Besides Sunny Deol, Border 2 also features Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film is a sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 hit Border. The war drama has been produced by JP Dutta’s daughter Nidhi Dutta and Bhushan Kumar.
