Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh on Monday received a threatening voice note from WhatsApp demanding crores of rupees, PTI reported.

After the threat, Bombay Police launched an investigation and beefed up security outside the actor’s residence.

The development comes in the wake of the recent firing incident at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s house.

On the work front, Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of Dhurandhar 2, the sequel to his 2025 blockbuster, Dhurandhar. The film hit the screens on March 19, 2026.
