Rajinikanth The generosity is not limited to his on-screen performances. The actor recently showed his heart of gold to a healthcare worker, Padma, by gifting her a gold chain. Recently, Padma gained recognition from all over Tamil Nadu after she returned a bag full of jewelery that she found during her cleaning shift. He soon went viral for his honest gesture.
Later, Rajinikanth called her to meet him and honored her with a gold chain and shawl. Photos of Rajinikanth presenting the gold chain to the healthcare worker have gone viral on social media. A fan shared the photos and wrote, “Superstar #Rajinikanth personally called Padmaa and gifted her a gold chain. ⭐ She is a frontline worker who recovered 45 sovereigns worth of gold jewelery lying on the road and handed it over to its owner. 👏.” Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin had also honored her with a check of Rs 1 lakh for showing integrity and honesty.

Padma was cleaning the streets on January 11 in Chennai‘s T Nagar when he found a bag lying under the garbage. She opened it and discovered old ornaments inside the bag. He immediately contacted senior officials of the department and reported the matter to a nearby police station. Police later confirmed that the jewelry was real gold and returned it to its rightful owner.

This is not a single incident where Rajinikanth has shown generosity. Earlier, he had reportedly honored his Madurai fan Rajini Sekar. Rajini Sekar runs a small restaurant that sells parottas in the city and sells them for Rs 5 a piece to help feed the poor. It is reported that the actor met the fan and also gifted him and his family a gold chain as a token of gratitude.
On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently working on Jailer 2, directed by Nelson. The first film in the franchise was a huge box office success.
