Recently, Kanye West published a full-page apology in the Wall Street Journal, where he claimed that a misdiagnosed brain injury caused him to develop bipolar disorder. She said: “I lost touch with reality. I treated some of the people I love most worse. You endured fear, confusion, humiliation and the exhaustion of trying to love someone who was, at times, unrecognizable. One of the difficult aspects of having bipolar type 1 is the moments of disconnection, many of which I still can’t remember, which lead to poor judgment and reckless behavior that often feels like an out-of-body experience.”
