Akshay Kumar shares a great equation with the Kapoor sisters – Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor. Recently, on the television show Wheel Of Fortune, which akshay is the host, he was seen sharing funny jokes with Karisma Kapoor and hilariously explaining how she and her family own an apartment in almost every building in Bandra.
Joking with Karisma, Akshay Buying said, “In Bandra, every building has its apartment. The board in front of the building would say ‘K Kapoor’. They don’t spell their full names. Their mother Babita Kapoor also has her name on the board as B Kapoor, but I asked them, ‘Why are there so many apartments?’ They tell me that they also want to reach Santacruz and Khar. But they are honest people, they don’t buy more than one apartment per building. They leave the rest of the floors for other people. Karisma spends the nights on different floors every day.”
Laughing at Akshay’s comments, Karisma responded and returned the joke, saying, “Kuch bhi. Do you know he owns the entire Juhu?”
This is not the first time Akshay has taunted the Kapoor sisters about their property portfolio. Earlier, during his appearance with Kareena on The Great Indian Comedy Central, he joked that she owned several flats in Bandra. He had said, “These are two sisters who work in the industry. This woman owns an apartment in every building in Bandra. Don’t they charge rent for all the apartments?” Kareena responded in the same way as Karisma and said, “Kuch bhi Bolta Hai (He says anything).”

In an earlier interview with DNA, Akshay talked about his dynamic with Kareena and Karisma and how he continues to make fun of them whenever they meet. He had said, “Every time we meet, be it on a film set or at an awards night, our equation remains the same. We love each other a lot. Bebo and Lolo tease me about the amount of money I am earning and I tease them about having an apartment in every building in Bandra. Those are our funny banter.”
For the anonymous ones, Karisma Kapoor’s children, Kiaan and Samara are currently embroiled in a legal battle with their stepmother Priya Sachdev over their late father Sunjay Kapur’s estate. According to Forbes, Sunjay’s net worth at the time of his death was $1.2 billion (Rs 10.3 billion).
