Now, filmmaker Karan Johar has expressed his support for Varun. In an Instagram post, he slammed content creators who “make noise” and “search for clickbait”, and praised Varun’s war drama.
Karan took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, “It has to be said… the reason it’s called virtual world! Real will always score and prove that the noise on social media has gone away!”
The filmmaker added: “You can fool an artist by his smile, but then he laughs when the film releases to packed houses and receives pure, authentic love from the audience! So content creators who make noise and seek clickbait can do whatever they want… the truth will always prevail!”

Meanwhile, Karan Johar also praised Border 2. Sharing a poster of the film, he wrote, “Border 2 made me cry in many scenes! Patriotism with a beating heart! Sure winner!” He also tagged other cast members including Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and the makers.
