Samay Raina had a pretty rough 2025 after her show India’s Got Latent landed in a huge controversy. Later in the year, he sold out shows across the country and in many parts of the world and in a matter of a few months, the Samay controversy was in the past. The comedian has quite a sense of humor about this chapter of his life and recently, Collaborated with Archana Puran Singh and appeared on her son Aaryamann Sethi’s YouTube channel, after recording a video with her.
After the shoot, Archana and her sons, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan, praised their luxury car, which had a built-in seat massager, a comfortable recliner and huge legroom. “The butler is missing and the order is complete. (Only one butler is missing to take your order)”, joked Samay. Archana was so impressed with the car that she said, “Now I will have to buy it.” To this, Samay replied, “You can buy four” and Ayushmaan joked, “Uske liye cancel hona padta hai. (You have to be canceled for that).”
Acknowledging Samay’s success, Archana added, “But you have to have a big show like Latent.” When Samay said that she already had the Kapil Sharma show, Archana was quick to add, “Usme Kapil kamata hai. Main nahi kamati. (But Kapil makes money from it, I don’t). But Samay reminded him: “Nahi par aap cancel ho sakti ho usme. (But you can get canceled on that.)” Talking about Archana, Samay added that he also wants to achieve that level of success where he can make money just by laughing, like Archana.
Then they arrived at Samay’s house and took a tour of the house. Later, Aaryamann and Ayushmaan accompanied Samay to a paddle tennis match where Samay introduced Aaryamann to one of his friends. “Yeh Archana madam ka beta hai. (He is the son of Mrs. Archana). This is his only claim to fame at the moment. “So far, that’s all.”
Towards the end of the vlog, Aaryamann described Samay as a “nice guy” who doesn’t watch movies or TV shows and likes to live in the moment. “I always try to learn when I meet people I respect so I can understand what they do and why they do it. He told me he doesn’t watch TV or movies. He believes in living in the moment, playing the guitar, walking on the beach, talking to your friends, just doing something fun and I feel like I need to learn that,” he said.
