Aishwarya Rajesh, who has made a mark in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi cinema, recently recalled a disturbing incident that occurred in the early days of her acting career. In an interview, the The actor remembers being harassed. by a photographer when he told her he wanted to “see her body.”
During a conversation on Nikhil Vijayendra Simha’s podcast, Aishwarya recalled the bullying incident and shared that it left her overwhelmed. “I was very young and I had gone with my brother. The photographer asked him to sit outside, he took me inside, handed me the lingerie and said, ‘I want to see your body,'” she shared, according to News 18.
The actor added that since he didn’t know how the film industry worked, he was about to give in, but his instinct told him to stop. “At that age I didn’t understand the sector enough. Maybe that’s life. I was almost convinced, but not yet,” she says. To get out of the situation, Aishwarya told the photographer that she had to take permission from her brother and escaped from the situation. “I wonder how many girls he got to do this… I never told my brother,” she shared.
During the same talk, he also talked about an incident in which a director yelled at him. “I remembered this incident when I was late for work on the sets, and my director yelled at me in front of other young artistes. He was not angry with me, but he always compared me to other actresses. He might have done something wrong with me, and then he scolded me in front of everyone. Don’t embarrass people like that, even if they have made a mistake,” she said.
