The premiere of the 50s: Banijay Asia’s latest reality show, the 50swill premiere tonight with 50 celebrities as contestants. Ahead of the show’s release, the creators shared trailers that promise intense drama and entertainment. In the promos, contestants are seen performing demanding tasks, and even before the games officially begin, a contestant receives a “starting order” from the Lion. Also, former Bigg Boss contestant Rajat Dalal is shown having a physical altercation with fellow contestant Digvijay Rathee.
What are 50?
Los 50 is a game-based reality show inspired by the Spanish show of the same name. It hosts 50 celebrities from television, film, reality TV and social media for 26 days in a palace. Interestingly, in the show the contestants will perform tasks at each step to save the prize of Rs 50 lakh. According to reports, the Lion will decide and discard all the rules of the game.

What to expect from The 50s
As seen in the trailers for The 50, in the first episode, contestants will face obstacle challenges as well as a round of musical chairs, during which Himesh Reshammiya will perform live. After these tasks, the participants must decide who should be kicked out of the game. As the promo concludes, Bhojpuri actress Monalisa is seen breaking down in tears and saying, “This is not fair.” Monalisa is participating in the show along with her husband, Vikrant Singh Rajpoot.
The promos also hint at heated confrontations between the contestants. An angry Rajat Dalal is seen charging at Digvijay Rathee, while Karan Patel collides with Siddharth Bhardwaj during a task and then warns him. At another point, after injuring himself during a challenge, Karan threatens a fellow contestant, telling him, “Next time I will break your bones.” Furthermore, Sapna Choudhary is also seen taking on Adnaan Shaikh.
The 50s: when and where to see them
The 50s will air on JioHotstar every Monday to Sunday at 9 pm and on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. The show will have a total of 50 episodes and will see one or more contestants evicted in each episode. The show starts on February 1, 2026.
