Border 2 behind-the-scenes clip shows Ahan Shetty’s Navy sequence filmed in a swimming pool; fans react: ‘Itna badha dhoka’ | Bollywood News

Movie buffs like to consume Behind-the-scenes footage and stories from your favorite movies. as much as the movies themselves. The clips give an inside look at the making of the show, but often end up destroying the illusion. Something like this is happening with Anurag Singh’s directorial Border 2, as clips from its sets have started surfacing online. While many were excited about the footage, many chose to mock the production.

A clip of Ahan Shetty has been doing the rounds on the internet, where he can be seen standing on the side of a metal structure, which is supposed to imitate a part of a warship. The actor is being prepared for the scene by the makeup artist, who is trying to make his face look bruised and bloody. The real surprise comes later, when the camera zooms out, revealing that the water around the “boat” is not a natural body of water but a pool. The structure Ahan is standing on does not even float in the pool, but is held up by the crane.

This would have given the film’s makers some points for ingenuity if the film’s visual effects hadn’t been so criticized. The poor quality of the effects has been a recurring factor in the criticism that Border 2 has been receiving so far. In another clip, Ahan can be seen acting out the scene where he is violently thrown out of the ship’s cannon due to enemy fire. The scale of the shot and the props that have been built are commendable, and a huge crew can be seen operating several different cranes and instruments while attempting to shoot.

While Ahan only used the heart and Indian flag emoji below the video, many fans mocked the clip. One fan wrote: “I never thought the enemy would attack us in a pool,” while another wrote: “Don’t do all this; it’ll ruin all the emotions.” One Ahan fan wrote: “Give me back my tears, Ahan Shetty. By the way, I loved your performance.”

All in all, despite shaky reviews and criticism of its visual effects, Border 2 is currently triumphing at the box office. The film released on January 23 and its net collection in India has already reached Rs 200 crore. Directed by Anurag Singh, the cast of Border includes Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Mona Singh, Medha Rana and Anya Singh.

Stunt director Parvez Shaikhh spoke about the choreography of the film’s action sequence to News 9 Live: “Despite his age, Sunny Paaji performed actions like he did in his youth. We used body doubles only for some high-risk explosive sequences. Heroes of his generation insist on doing their own action. They do not throw tantrums. Today’s younger actors tend to act confidently. The dedication and sheer energy of the older generation is not present in the generation of actors. today.” He, however, was not in charge of the boat sequence.
