For quite some time now, the Internet has been a hive of Ongoing feud between Sara Ali Khan and her former best friend, social media personality Orhan Awatramanipopularly known as Orry. The situation escalated a few days ago when Orry posted a video on social media using the phrase “3 worst names,” listing Sara, Amrita and Palak. The post was widely interpreted as being directed at Sara, her mother Amrita Singh and actor Palak Tiwari. The video was later removed after it sparked a backlash from netizens. Shortly after the incident, Sara and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan unfollowed Orry on Instagram.
Orry recently spoke about the feud in an interview with Hindustan Times, stating, “I unfollowed Sara a while ago and I haven’t followed Ibrahim in years. Pretending to be friends with Sara means pretending I’m okay with the trauma her mother (Amrita Singh) put me through and I just don’t think I can do it anymore.” When asked what exactly he meant in relation to veteran actress Amrita Singh, he refused to comment.
Orry wants Amrita Singh to apologize
He also addressed the viral comment he made about Sara Ali Khan’s career: “I really don’t think I said anything bad about her. I just made a little joke looking into her career. I highly doubt she felt bad about it. The whole internet makes fun of Sara’s movies all the time. Her biggest work is a series of memes she’s delivered through movies, people make fun of me for being out of work all the time, it’s not that deep.”
When asked if there is any chance of reconciliation with Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the future, Orry was candid: “If Amrita Singh apologized, maybe I could see myself letting it go in the future.”
Orry’s actions have reportedly bothered Sara Ali Khan since her birthday in August last year. Apparently, he had posted unflattering photos of her as a birthday greeting, which the actor didn’t like. Industry sources suggest that Sara’s brother Ibrahim Ali Khan, who was once close to Orry, also had issues with him. Recently, Orry faced intense trolling when he posted a video of himself wearing a micro bikini printed on a T-shirt. A subsequent exchange of comments between Orry and a fan, which appeared to delve into Sara Ali Khan’s career, fueled criticism online.
