In recent months, Bollywood celebrities who appear to have lost weight have been constantly asked questions about weight loss medications. With the rise of Ozempic and Mounjaro, the physical transformation of celebrities has come under the scanner as their fans are curious to know if these medications helped them lose weight.

Recently, comedian and influencer Aishwarya Mohranraj shared a video in which she talked about using Mounjaro and what made her do it. While many on the internet supported Aishwarya for her honest confession, she also faced some backlash. and now actor Soha Ali Khan has applauded Aishwarya’s bravery for making this confession on a public platform.

Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, Soha supported Aishwarya for revealing the truth behind her journey. In a video, he said: “Finally someone said it. They lost a lot of weight not only by eating well or exercising, but also by taking Mounjaro. And I think it takes a lot of courage to tell the truth.”

The actor emphasized a part of the comedian’s speech, where he asked people to always follow the doctor’s advice and not trust the word of an influencer when considering weight loss medications. He added: “Ozempic and Mounjaro are not weight loss trends. They are serious medical treatments and are only intended for certain people.”

Soha Ali Khan accepted that losing weight can be a challenge and cannot be achieved based on willpower alone. There are several other factors that play an important role, including hormones, insulin resistance, PCOS, thyroid, and metabolism. “Injections can help, but they are serious and have side effects. They need testing and medical supervision. So instead of asking who takes them, we should ask who really needs them.” she highlighted.

Earlier this week, Aishwarya Mohanraj opened up about her struggle to lose weight despite following strict diets and exercise. He also spoke about his mental health problems in the midst of this phase. “My craziest and biggest insecurity was my double chin. I stopped making videos. I stopped going online because I couldn’t see myself. I took this medication every week for 6 months. In those 6 months, my weight went from 74 kilograms to 52 kilograms. It’s fast. It’s crazy. It’s crazy and crazy (sic),” she said.
