The much-awaited Mumbai municipal corporation elections are over, but the city will not have a mayor right away. This is not just for that The winning alliance partners Mahayuti, BJP and Eknath Shindeled by Shiv Sena, are locked in a fight over who will get the coveted position. This is because the election of the mayor is governed by a separate legal process that begins only after the new House is formally constituted.
